To make the salute, bring your right hand up to your shoulder, palm facing forwards, fingers straight. Now hold your little finger down with your thumb, keeping your other fingers straight and that's it!
 All Brownies Guides, Guides, Rangers Guides, Young Leaders, Guiders and commissioners use the same salute to show they all belong to the same family of guiding. The salute does make shaking hands a little difficult! That's why we use the Left handed shake.
